You can depend on many different things once you start living with a cat, but one thing is for sure: If you're a'typin' they'll come a'layin. That's right, cats LOVE to lay on your laptop whether you're in the middle of typing an email, at the last few sentences of your novel, or just walked away for a quick bathroom break. They will lay right down there on your keyboard. Heck, they'll even lay on your hands if you're still trying to type when they're trying to get a lay. Some cat parents think it's because the laptop is warm and the cats like that. Others think your cat wants in on the action, so they'll get them their own silly mini keyboard and have them lay on that. Whatever the real reason is, we believe cats have been doing it since the dawn of humankind.
